So it’s begun.
“It” is the journey to sharing the benefits of living a healthy and active lifestyle. There are so many reasons for me to want to share this with as many people as I can. The biggest one, is that I want as many people as possible to be healthy. But what does it mean to be healthy? I believe that everyone has a different view on what it means to be healthy. For instance, mine would revolve around being able to do whatever you want and not be held back by your body. I believe everyone should be able to live his or her life with no restrictions. And in that regard you will lead a healthier and happier life, both physically and mentally. Ultimately I think that everyone wants to do that for one reason or another.
Want to go on a hike, want to be able to pick up your child or nephew and run around with them? Want to perform better at your job or favorite sport? Or maybe you just want to look better in your beachwear this summer. These could be the reasons that drive you. Whatever it may be, I want to help you accomplish that.
I want to be your motivator, your inspiration, someone to keep you engaged in achieving your goals. Just like there are many ways to live a healthy lifestyle, there are also many ways to help someone start to become healthier. In my opinion, watching someone work through his or her challenge is very motivational. Even more motivating is watching them accomplish their own goals. Success is a very addicting feeling. So how do I accomplish this? I’m just going to keep being me… although that doesn’t sound impressive. What you’re really getting from me is a role model of sorts.
I’m someone who is high energy, optimistic, honest, hard working, fun, and caring. That is what I’m hoping to deliver with this blog…well actually I’m planning on delivering that through my Instagram and vlogs on YouTube. So no matter which of my social media you follow you’ll be getting my side notes, inner thoughts on the workouts, and updates on the activities that I’m doing.
But wait, what exactly am I going to be doing you ask?
I’ll be going to the gym and showing you my workout routines, my warm up and cool downs exercises. But that sounds boring already, so I’m going to be mixing it up as often as possible. I’ll do this through tutorials and tips on how to workout properly. I will also teach you ways to improve your strength and conditioning in as many areas of your work out as possible. Along the way I’m going to be trying as many new workouts and activities whenever and wherever I can. Maybe it’s something new from my triathlon training, or maybe it’s getting involved at a yoga studio. It could be anything like taking a spin class, trying Crossfit, or maybe taking a crack at one of the many martial arts out there. Along the way, my hope is that you want to implement something I’ve shown you into your own life and try it for yourself.
Either way I hope that I can just inspire you to get up, get out there, and get to it. Unfortunately, that is where the line will be drawn, for as much as I want to help you through all of this, you will be the ones who have to do it. I’ll be there every step of the way though, cheering you on!
